I create animations that transform complex ideas into compelling visual stories—from scientific explainers to intimate narratives about menstruation and social issues. My work lives at the intersection of education, empathy, and experimentation.

 

I started my career as a video journalist at The Wall Street Journal in Asia. The talented reporters, editors and fellow vjs I got to work with helped refine my techniques and storytelling, that eventually led to a freelance career to tell stories for brands, non-profits and various news organizations with motion.

My first animated feature short film 'Monkey on My Back' won the Gold Award of The Best Animation (Start-ups) Award in the 10th Animation Support Program. 

 

When not keyframing, I’m painting outdoors, hunting for spices, or nerding out about birds. I also love teaching—I’ve led workshops at universities in Hong Kong and beyond.
